Presale Madness
Today is the first day of the presale for Morrissey tickets. The presale will end Fri. March 30 at 10 pm. Ever since the first shows Morrissey had this year, I have been trying to obtain tickets; be it from presales, ticketmaster, ebay and who knows what people but no tickets for me :(
For his upcoming shows in Los Angeles I was determined to get tickets! My ordeal began a couple of days ago when I decided to cash my check. I went to the bank and had everything I needed with me, my id and my debit card but guess what? I had no check with me! I began to panic at the thought of someone getting my check and somehow cashing it but after I calmed down I remembered that I had left it at my house. Hahaha how laughable is that?! The next day I woke up at 2pm because of late night partying :p I had to go to work immediately but before I went to work, I stopped at the bank. I was in line digging through my purse making sure I had my check. This time the check was there but no debit card and no id. Hmm...a little repetitive huh? I tried to cash it anyways with other forms of id but no luck. They told me they had sent me a replacement debit card and they could not let me deposit nor withdraw any money. So basically I was screwed. I woke up this morning at 6am with a glimmer of hope that I would be able to cash my check and deposit it in order to be able to see Morrissey. The presale began at 10am, the same time the bank opened. I tried going to another nearby bank to try my luck there but my luck was no good. I was devastated. I came home and watched as the tickets disappeared. 20 minutes into the presale I get a phone call from a dear old friend of mine who said "I got 2 tickets for you. They are for the Morrissey show in the Hollywood Bowl. Do you want them?" I responded with a scream and then with a "Of course I want them!" My friend gave me the seat numbers and I noticed they are not too close. To be honest, I was a tad disappointed but I got tickets at least. Is it wrong to want to be front row in a concert where the man who wrote the songs that saved my life will perform? You be the judge?...Of course it is NOT wrong hahaha...
